Kids Review: Rosie and Hugh's Great Big Adventure

What happens in the show?

Rosie is starting a new school, and is worried about making friends. So Rosie and Hugh the hedgehog go on an adventure because they want the school holidays to last forever.

What did you like most about the show?

All of it – the music and songs were so good, and there were no scary bits. OK, only one scary bit but it was short. There were lots of animals in it, and we got to do lots of actions with the actors and singers. There was also a polar bear, which is my favourite, and I really liked that there was a real life violin.

Was there anything you didn’t like?

I didn't like it when Rosie and Hugh had a fight, but they became friends again really quickly so everything was fine.

What did your grown-up think about the show?

My mum really enjoyed the music and songs (by Nick Cope), she was doing all the actions with me. She said she would go with me again if I wanted to.

Would you tell your friends to go to the show?

Yes, the music and songs were really good and we were singing the songs all the way home.
