What happens in the show?
There’s a man with a monkey. The man is trying to write the end of his show, but keeps getting distracted, mostly by the monkey and the telephone ringing. It was the Government [Prime Minister of Theatre]. The monkey also kept getting bigger and bigger and it ended up being a big monkey bin that the man tried to throw everything into and there was lots of poo. Which the man pretended to eat, which was gross, except I don’t think it was actually poo. He also did lots of jumping and threw balls at us.

What did your grown-up think about the show?
It was a funny and engaging start to our Fringe experience this year. There were lots of laughs for everyone – kids and adults alike. Just the right side of quirky humour. Good level of audience participation as well – couldn’t let anyone get too comfortable!
