Tell me about your Fringe show and what it is really about to you?
Little Howard: Big Howard says our show is about the human condition and phallocentric nature of the existential struggle between life and death (suitable 6 years and over). I think it is about magic pencils.
When was the last time you were truly happy?
LH: I crossed the road all by my self to buy a bar of chocolate and a Thomas the Tank Engine Magazine without Big Howard catching me. I felt so alive!
What is your greatest worry at the minute?
LH: That Big Howard will find out that I crossed the road to buy a bar of chocolate and a Thomas the Tank Engine Magazine.
Which animal do you most relate to and why?
LH: Big Howard says I should make a joke about welsh people "relating" to sheep, but I don't get that. I like my dog Puddle because he also has no nose either. I also relate to raccoons because they look like pandas.
Describe your favorite childhood toy.
LH: I had a false nose which I liked a lot. I was drawn without a nose you see. "childhood toys" are the best sort. My friend's mum has a collection of "Adult Toys". They are rubbish, it's just a load of truncheons so you can only play at being a policeman.
What object represents your idea of perfection?
LH: A six foot pencil that can make me real. I don't suppose you know where I can find one do you?
What type of event or occurrence makes you feel deeply uncomfortable?
LH: Grown ups asking me to describe my relationship with my parents.
Describe your relationship with your parents.
LH: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Describe a particularly vivid dream or nightmare that you have had recently.
LH: I have a reoccurring dream that I am on stage and I have forgotten all my lines and I feel like a big idiot. Of course I never do in real life. Big Howard does it all the time because he is a big idiot.
What is your biggest regret?
LH: I am 6 and a half, so I've got a lot of regrets. My biggest regret is not pushing Melanie Patience into the duck pond when I was four. Sometimes it keeps me awake at night. I just keep going: "Why?! WHY!? She was standing right by it you fool! WHY!?"
