A shapeless mish-mash of comedy, drama and dance, this high-concept production isn't half as clever as it clearly thinks it is.
Graham is a preening dancer preparing for a performance with acting partner Sally. He's teaching her some of the tricks of the trade but she's slow to learn and can't control her facial expressions, in particular her troublesome tongue. Both characters are completely self-obsessed and unlikeable, scoring cheap points off one another and trying to curry the audience's favour as the fourth wall is demolished.
The two cast members are both solid enough performers and have decent on-stage chemistry but the material simply doesn't bear any scrutiny. By the end the overall impression is of a few half-baked skits injected with a healthy dose of self-importance.
