The Wonder Drug examines the nature of "recovery" through the interactions of two drifters who move from strangers to frenemies to friends in this new play by Kansas-based playwright Daniel Born. The play connects two emotionally disabled men through their participation in an experiment that uses a drug to elicit empathy. But does this psychotropic drug have unintended consequences?
