PAUL + 1 don't have a show. We have at least three shows to chose from that have not been performed in Adelaide. Scomo - the complete works (abridged), The All Stars Rock Opera, and Covid: The Musical. Who knows what we'll perform on the day, rest assured, something will be here. It seems insane, four days out from the American election, that we are supposed to have a show already locked in. This is the sort of over regulation of the arts that has lead to the death of theatre, performance and comedy. It shows a lack of vision by the Fringe organisers as the overall spontaneity is stifled by the need to meet the demands of government grants. The Fringe has become a bloated monstrosity. Live in the moment, lose the guardrails, cut the red tape. On the night there will be SOMETHING HERE.
